DvaraBell Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the DvaraBell smart intercom service, including our mobile applications (Android, iOS), web homeowner portal, visitor calling interface, and related servers and APIs (collectively, the "Service"), operated by BLSS ("BLSS", "we", "us").

By downloading, installing, registering, or using any part of the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Account Registration & Security

• You may register and access your account using an authorized email/password or third-party authentication such as Google Sign-In.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and all activities that occur under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate, current information and notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach.

3. Service & Intercom Usage

• Visitor Calling & QR Codes: Homeowners are issued dedicated QR codes and doorbell endpoints. You agree to deploy QR codes responsibly and solely on your owned or authorized property doors and gates.
• Audio & Video Streams: Active live calls utilize peer-to-peer WebRTC technology. Streams are transmitted directly between devices or via secure relays for communication purposes and are not recorded on our servers.
• Voice Notes & Messages: Audio recordings left voluntarily by visitors when you are unavailable are stored securely so you may listen to and manage them.

4. License & Usage Restrictions

Subject to these Terms, BLSS grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service. You agree not to:

• Use the Service for harassment, surveillance of unauthorized third parties, unlawful recording, or any fraudulent or illegal activity.
• Modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from our software.
• Interfere with, overload, or compromise the integrity or security of our networks, servers, or WebRTC signaling infrastructure.
• Resell, sublicense, or distribute access to the Service without express written permission.

5. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, logos, software, designs, text, and documentation related to DvaraBell are the exclusive property of BLSS. Nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership rights or title to our intellectual property.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BLSS EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED, DELAY-FREE, OR ERROR-FREE NOTIFICATIONS OR WEBRTC TRANSMISSIONS.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL BLSS, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR PROPERTY, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, DOORBELL CALLS, OR NOTIFICATIONS.

8. Privacy Policy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which details how we collect, store, and process your personal information and activity logs.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in activities harmful to our infrastructure or users.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
